Cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry is our passion. During your initial visit to our cosmetic dental practice, Dr Castro will conduct a thorough smile analysis, examining the health of your dentition and identifying opportunities for improvement. From there, Dr. Castro will walk you through your treatment options and help you select which treatments best address your health needs and smile goals. Together, we’ll help you reach your dream smile.
This consultation is a critical factor in establishing what kind of experience you can expect and understand the results you can achieve.
Dr. Castro sees the consultation as an interview process. You should come in and decide if she is the right fit for the job, and determine if you feel confident in her expertise and recommendations. At the same time, she also needs to make sure your goals are ones she can deliver!
It’s really important for patients to be heard and Dr. Castro encourages you to be involved in your smile design. She likes to listen and make sure that your goals are realistic and obtainable. A smile needs to be able to both function properly and look beautiful!
In order to maximize time, Dr. Castro asks his patients to come prepared. Have a list of questions you would like to discuss and have answered. If there’s a specific smile you have in mind, it’s helpful to bring in pictures to the consultation.
It’s also important that you feel comfortable and understand the process of the procedure you are having done. Dr. Castro always invites patients to follow up with her if they have any questions they forgot to ask or if they need clarification on something that was discussed.

Invisalign i7 offers the possibility of adjusting minor orthodontic issues. This treatment is very affordable, timely and with minimal impact on your day to day activities. Invisalign i7 is recommended for those who are experiencing small cosmetic concerns such as slight teeth crowding, minor spacing or the reversion of past orthodontic treatments.
The versatility of this program allows this to be one of the shortest treatments yet with up to seven aligners seeing results in the span of only three months.
Much like the Invisalign i7, Invisalign Lite offers a quick, easy and manageable solution for mild malocclusions. This treatment will be appropriate for those that require more aligners and time to nurse their desired dental fulfillments.
Invisalign Lite offers up to fourteen aligners within the period of completion estimated at a total of six months. Though this treatment will lead to a great aesthetic resolution, it may not necessarily be suitable for everyone. This can only be determined during an assessment with our trained dental practitioners.
Invisalign Full is generally the most ideal treatment to undertake. Without any limitations, this package gives us the best chance in delivering an outcome that exceeds your expectations. With essentially an unlimited set of aligners provided to work with as required, Invisalign Full will be the superlative option for your dental journey.
This treatment is expected to take approximately seven to eighteen months to complete with the use of fifteen aligners or more.
Invisalign Complex addresses intricate dental requirements that necessitates much more attention and refinement. This is not a payment tier by Invisalign but a report by Clear Braces Centre which describes the complexity of the treatment. This may include the requirements of prolonged treatments, treatments that involve extractions and/or Invisalign treatments performed with other dental procedures. Because of this, valuations can only be established via appointment and consultation.
This procedure may be expected to last eighteen months or more. Depending on how intensive is the case, patients are normally referred to a Orthodontist
Put on a set of traditional veneers or the modern Prepless or No-prep, and you get the smile of your choice. But not quite! The question you must ask first is which one to go for, traditional veneers or Prepless or No-prep. Traditional Veneers and Prepless or No-prep have quite a few similarities. Here is some information which will lead you towards an informed decision.
Similarities between Traditional Porcelain Veneers and No-Prep Veneers Both options:
There are some differences between Traditional Veneers and No-Prep Veneers to which you need to understand.
Here are some advantages Prepless or No-prep have over traditional veneers.
Because of their thinness, Non-Prep veneers have some limitations:
What Should I do?
Which option is better in your specific case depends on your dental conditions. The best advice for you will be to decide in consultation with Dr Castro.
How many veneers should you get? It is a good idea to have an even number of veneers. Two, four, eight, ten or twelve veneers give the best aesthetic results.
Take a good look at this old image of Matthew Perry from his early days in Friends to see what you DON’T want. It isn’t hard to see a few mistakes there, right?
Take another look at Matthew Perry’s smile above and you’ll understand why these 3 questions are critical:
In simple terms, the bigger your smile and the bigger the changes that you want, the more teeth have to be treated
No – not just looking straight on – look from the sides, too. Too many people think they only show 6 teeth, because that’s what they see in the mirror. But if you turn your head just a little to one side, you’ll realize that you probably show at least 8 or 10 teeth total in a big grin. You see what a big mistake that was for Matthew Perry, right? He clearly needed 10-12 veneers, his grin is so wide.
Of course, if you are only unhappy with 1-2 teeth in that whole smile, you always have the option of only treating those specific teeth. Just because you show a lot of teeth in your smile doesn’t mean all of them need porcelain veneers , but if you want to change your whole smile, you do need to plan on treating ALL the teeth that show in your smile.
Again, Matthew is a great example. He obviously wanted his smile to be a lot brighter; he’s in Hollywood after all. It’s easy to see that, if you make a dramatic change in the colour of your smile, you can’t stop half way. This is one of the most important reasons to look at how many teeth you show when smiling. If you want much brighter teeth, you have to do all the teeth that show. Sometimes that means doing the bottom teeth, too.
If you’re keeping the colour teeth you already have, you have more freedom to choose how many teeth get veneers. In fact, if you like the natural colour of your teeth, you might only need to do whichever teeth you don’t like. However, if you only get 1-2 teeth done but want your whole smile brighter, do Teeth Whitening FIRST. Porcelain can’t be whitened!
For Extensive & Complex Cosmetic and Full Mouth Reconstructions and General dental treatment
Patient can get an initial quotation from the clinic if you provides X-rays, dental reports or other sufficient information. On major cosmetic and general works, our practice make an attempt provide a written quotation after an overall status assessment for all our patients.
After the status assessment and consultation, the patient will receive a final written quotation, which includes a list of all cost items related to the dental treatment. If the patient accepts the final quotation, the patient has to sign it. One copy stays with the patient, the other with the clinic. Our quotation looks like an invoice, it is a cost calculation. It lists all cost items, quantities, unit prices and sum prices with disclaimer and terms and conditions at the back of the page.
Quotation for Single dental works are done mostly verbally on an implied consent of the patient, unless the patient requested a written quote. Extended written treatment quotations may incur fees based on your individual needs and the time it will take us to accomplish the written treatment estimate or Quotation.
We make an effort that the estimate on all dental procedures we have provided be as accurately as possible. Sometimes, presenting conditions encountered when the teeth are actually treated may require a change in treatment plan and fees. Treatment could be more or less extensive than originally determined. If a change occurs, we will informed you immediately and the treatment will not proceed without your approval. In certain unforeseen extensive treatment or cases, you will be referred to a specialist and any associated specialist fees is at your own expense or is not included on our fees that you have been quoted or paid.
Please take a note on the inclusion and exclusion coverage of any given written treatment fees.
A quote for dental treatment is valid for 30 days from the date of examination and treatment planning, after which time we reserve the right to revise any fee quoted.
When you receive your written treatment plan and make appointments to commence treatment, it will be assumed that you have also followed the link to this document and read and understood the conditions of treatment herein. If you have any questions about your treatment or these terms and conditions of treatment, then we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible to discuss your questions. We Build Relationship, Not just Smiles
Everything we do at our practice is to the best of our ability. We pay attention to details, thorough and careful.
Any dentist cannot sincerely and specifically predict how long his dentistry will last beyond the number of years he has been in practice. As we are dealing with human beings, biological tissue and ceramics we cannot guarantee the duration of a restoration or prosthesis in a patient’s mouth. We can only offer predictions based on an epidemiological independent clinical studies.
Inevitably, a certain percentage of restorations will break for a variety of reasons, some biomechanical others through carelessness or accident. Despite the best will and treatment, very occasionally restorations do not last as long as they should do or require updating for other reasons.
Our commitment to excel in our profession is further evident by our unique

IMPLIED TERMS & WARRANTIES – 3 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Treatments Under Limited Warranty
b) This warranty does not operate in the following circumstances:
i) The crown, veneer or bridge has been damaged by trauma, accidents and excessive force by severe grinding and clenching of the teeth that could also break normal healthy teeth;
ii) Neglect such as new decay, misuse, abuse, accidents or additional dental treatment done elsewhere.
c) Failure of the tooth underneath the crown or onset of root infection is not covered by the warranty.
d) Root fillings and non standard treatments are not covered by the operation of this clause.
e) The Company cannot predict, if and/or when gum or nerve treatments may be required on the covered tooth. If needed, they will require payment of additional fees by the Patient. If a veneered or onlayed tooth is damaged or decayed to the extent that a crown is necessary, the full fee originally paid for the veneer or onlay will be applied by the Company in payment towards the crown and the Patient will only be liable for payment of the difference.
The prosthetic treatment provided is warranted for replacement at no cost should a failure occur under the following conditions. Failure constitutes technical and construction faults only and does not include recurrent decay due to poor patient oral hygiene; overload failure due to patient non-compliance in wearing a prescribed splint for grinding habits (if applicable); failure due to accident or injury; failure due to wilful or habitual damage (eg. nail biting); failure due to a change in the patient’s perception of the aesthetics of the final case after completion of treatment or failure due to loss or damage whether or not due to negligence on the patient’s behalf. Other dental professionals may be involved in the provision of services in complex treatment plans. Failure of treatments performed by other practitioners is not warranted.. The limited warranty period is for 3 years from the date of initial placement of the prosthesis, and is only valid if the patient returns for annual review appointment or as prescribed on your individual cases. These appointments are to review and check the prosthesis only and may include its cleaning, however they are not a substitute for regular recall examination and tooth cleaning services. Whilst the warranted period extends to 3 years, this does not mean that your prosthesis will not last longer if well maintained. In extreme rehabilitative or reconstructive cases, the dentition may be so compromised that even complicated, high quality prostheses may have a guarded or poor long-term prognosis. In such cases a normal warranty cannot be provided. If a normal warranty cannot be applied, it will be indicated in your treatment plan letter.
The following events are not covered in general by the Company’s three year limited warranty:
a) Failure or repairs resulting from a Force Majeure Event, neglect, abuse, failure of supportive tooth or tissue structures, wilful damage to the prosthetics, improper adjustments or improper dental hygiene.
b) Failure to follow periodic (minimum 6 months or 3-6-9-12 months) dental visit as prescribed by the Company for professional exam, X-rays and cleaning.
c) Failure to complete necessary dental treatments as prescribed by the Company. The Company is not liable or responsible for the treatment or dental work done by any other dentists and there remains no obligation on the Company to rectify other dentist’s work.
The Company cannot give a 100% foreseeable prognosis if and/or when gum or nerve treatments may be required on a covered tooth. If needed by a Patient such additional Services will require payment by the Patient of additional fees. Unless otherwise advised all recommended dental treatment(s) by the Company will be performed by Dr. Zenaidy Castro (with the exception of specialist treatments specifically recommended elsewhere).
